"punched"??

Madison and Lauren have been going around this morning singing "Victory in Jesus"

"oh victory in Jesus, my Savior forever"...
"He punched me to victory"

I know I need to correct them, and I will, but at 6 and 9 "plunged" doesn't make a lot more sense. I love that song and the fact that we have "VICTORY" in JEsus... just that line didn't make sense to me as a kid, and evidentally it makes less sense to my kids today. :)

In our church we sing a blend of hymns and current praise & worship songs.

Since God gave us a free will, I don't really see him "punching" someone to victory; but I have met a few people, who in my opinion, could have used it - lol :)
